The short version
Klubo is used by coaches on a phone at the side of a class and by parents arriving from WhatsApp. It has to work for everyone in that picture. This page says what we do about that today, where we know we fall short, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
1. What Klubo does today
- Works on a phone first. Every parent-facing screen is built for a 375-pixel-wide screen and respects the text size you set on your device.
- Never blocks zoom. You can pinch to zoom any page, including the schedule and attendance lists.
- Buttons say what they do. Controls carry text labels, not only icons, and say what happens when you tap them.
- Colour is never the only signal. A payment that is late, a package that is running out and a class that is cancelled are all named in words, not only coloured.
- Images carry descriptions. Pictures on the public site have alternative text; decorative ones are marked so screen readers skip them.
- Plain language. The product speaks in the words a club owner uses — students, packages, renewals — and avoids jargon.
- Keyboard use on the public site. The marketing pages, sign-up and login can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
2. Where we know we fall short
- Some signed-in screens — the weekly schedule grid and long attendance lists — are dense on very small phones. We are working through them.
- We have not yet had Klubo audited by an independent accessibility specialist, and we have not tested every screen with every screen reader.
- Contrast in the dark-themed public pages is under review.
3. What we aim at
Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We treat that as the standard to reach, not a claim we have earned: this page will say when an independent check has been done.
4. Tell us when something is in your way
If any part of Klubo is hard to use for you or for someone in your family, write to hello@getklubo.com or use Support inside the app. Say which screen and what happened. We reply within one working day, and a fix that helps one family usually helps every club.
5. Changes
When the product changes in a way that affects this page, the page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
